SKCK Registration Now via the Polri Super App

The Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) is an official Indonesian National Police document stating whether a person has a criminal record. It is commonly required for job applications, school enrollment, and visa processing.

In 2026, SKCK registration is no longer served through the website but has been fully moved to the Polri Super App (Presisi), available on the Play Store and App Store. Through the app, applicants can upload documents, choose a collection location, and pay the official fee without long queues.

Document Requirements for an SKCK

Prepare digital copies of your documents before registering: e-ID card, family card, and a birth certificate, diploma, or marriage certificate as supporting identity. Applicants also need six recent 4x6 photos with a red background, dressed neatly with no accessories covering the face.

Fingerprint data is recorded directly by officers at the police office when the physical SKCK is collected. For certain purposes such as going abroad, the SKCK must be legalized at National Police Headquarters.

Steps to Apply for an SKCK Online

Download the Polri Super App, then register an account using your national ID number (NIK), email, and an active phone number, and complete identity verification. Once the account is active, open the SKCK menu, tap "Ajukan SKCK", fill in your personal data, purpose, and family information, then upload all required documents.

Choose the provincial, district, or precinct police office for collection, then pay the Rp30,000 non-tax state revenue fee via virtual account. Save the barcode or payment receipt sent to your email.

Visit the chosen police office with your original documents and payment receipt. After document verification and fingerprint recording, the physical SKCK can usually be issued the same day.

Fees, Validity, and Safety Tips

The SKCK issuance fee for Indonesian citizens is Rp30,000 under Government Regulation No. 76 of 2020 on Polri non-tax revenue. The SKCK is valid for six months from issuance and can be extended after it expires.

"We urge the public not to use brokers. The entire process can be done easily by yourself," said Bali Police public relations chief Sr. Comr. Ariasandy. Only use official Polri channels and never send personal data or pay to a private bank account.
