Three Dewa 19 Vocalists on One Stage

Dewa 19's three vocalists created a special moment on the SNADA Indonesia 2026 Music Festival stage. The band founded by Ahmad Dhani united Ari Lasso, Ello and Virzha in a single performance.

The annual music festival organized by OPPAL was held at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Saturday (10/10/2026). In 2026, SNADA Indonesia carried the theme 'Suara dan Nada dari Indonesia Timur' (Sounds and Tones from Eastern Indonesia).

Dewa 19's set opened with Ahmad Dhani and Ello on stage. Ello performed energetically, delivering three songs — Pangeran Cinta, Cukup Siti Nurbaya and Dewi — which had the audience cheering along.

Cross-Generation Dewa 19 Vocalists

After Ello's performance, Virzha took the stage. The Indonesian Idol alumnus performed several signature songs, including Roman Picisan and Dua Sejoli.

The set closed with the appearance of Ari Lasso, Dewa 19's original vocalist. His arrival was greeted enthusiastically as he performed legendary songs such as Cinta Kan Membawamu Kembali and Ku Sebut Namamu.

Dewa 19 has changed vocalists over its journey. The first vocalist slot was held by Ari Lasso from 1991-1999, then replaced by Once Mekel who fronted the band from 2000-2010. After the Once era, Dewa 19 adopted a featured-vocalist formation, with Virzha and Ello as the two featured vocalists to this day.

SNADA 2026 Showcases Eastern Indonesian Music and Culture

Besides Dewa 19, SNADA Indonesia 2026 was enlivened by a lineup of other musicians. Anggun C Sasmi, Andmesh Kamaleng, Fresly Nikijuluw, Jacson Zeran, Toton Caribo and Moluccan Soul all took part.

The presence of Eastern Indonesian musicians reinforced the event's focus on the diversity of Indonesian music. The concert also involved the Rumah Orkestra Jogja orchestra as musical accompaniment plus contemporary dance performances by the art collective #TEAMRORO.

The blend of music, orchestra and contemporary dance was the organizers' approach to presenting Indonesian culture in a modern performance format.

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

For many in the audience, seeing three generations of Dewa 19 vocalists share one stage was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Fans flooded social media with clips of the historic moment, celebrating the band's enduring legacy across generations.
