NAZA Opens in Indonesia on 16 October 2026
The investigative documentary NAZA by directors Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor is confirmed to open in Indonesian cinemas on 16 October 2026. The release is part of a collaboration between Cinépolis Cinemas Indonesia and KlikFilm through the curated-cinema program Cinépolis Sala de Arte x KlikFilm Showcase, as well as the Malang World Cinema (MWC) 2026 lineup.
Indonesian audiences can watch NAZA through the Sala de Arte program at six Cinépolis locations across various Indonesian cities.
Before arriving in Indonesia, NAZA drew international film attention after winning the prestigious Special Jury Prize at the 2026 Venice Film Festival. Its premiere in Venice on 10 September 2026 reportedly received a standing ovation lasting about 24.5 minutes.

NAZA Synopsis: Testimony from 24 Israeli Military Personnel
The directors are no strangers to acclaim. Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor previously won an Oscar for their documentary No Other Land.
The title NAZA comes from the Hebrew military term "Nezek Agavi", meaning collateral damage. The roughly 80-minute investigative documentary spotlights military operations and artificial-intelligence-based targeting and automated surveillance systems used by the Israeli military during the assault on the Gaza Strip.
Set against nighttime visuals from Tel Aviv rooftops, NAZA presents in-depth testimony from 24 Israeli intelligence personnel and soldiers whose identities are concealed.
The Humanitarian Issues in NAZA
Through these insider accounts, the film unpacks how strike decisions are made, how algorithms target residential buildings, and how casualty calculations for Palestinian civilians were consciously factored into the system.
Speaking from their perspective as Israeli citizens, Abraham and Szor invite viewers to reflect on a moral question: how a military system and a society normalize the dehumanization of the other, and how individual distance from responsibility triggers massive humanitarian tragedy.
NAZA Screening Schedule and Locations in Indonesia
KlikFilm Director Frederica explained that bringing NAZA to Indonesia is part of an effort to present international films with humanitarian themes. She hopes the film will encourage Indonesian audiences to reflect on the value of life, empathy, and humanity.
NAZA is scheduled for a regular release in Indonesian cinemas through KlikFilm starting 16 October 2026, offering the public a space to see, understand, and discuss humanitarian issues of global concern.
