Kanye West Concert at GBK on 24 October 2026

The Kanye West concert at GBK became a reality. The US hip-hop musician and producer now known as YE staged his first-ever solo concert in Indonesia on Saturday (24/10/2026). The show, titled YE Live in Jakarta, took place at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) in Senayan, Jakarta.

Promoted by Raw Vision Collective, the concert was part of the promotion for YE's 12th studio album, Bully. Jakarta was the only Southeast Asian city on the musician's official 2026 tour schedule, marking YE's stage debut in Indonesia.

"Bringing YE to Jakarta is not only about bringing one of the world's most influential musicians to Indonesia. More than that, it shows that Jakarta is increasingly trusted as a host for global-scale music performances," said Raw Vision Collective CEO Micha Ananda.

360-Degree Stage for 77,000 Spectators

On the production side, the concert featured the Globe Stage concept: a 360-degree dome stage placed at the stadium's center. The design allowed audiences to watch the stage action from every side, with the promoter claiming there was no bad viewing angle in any category.

The giant stage was designed to surround the stadium to deliver an immersive visual experience for more than 77,000 spectators. The promoter said the concept offered a performance experience never seen before in Indonesia.

Fan enthusiasm was high, including from abroad. The promoter noted strong interest from Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand.

Ticket Prices and Impact on Local Creative Economy

Tickets were divided into eight categories, from numbered seated tribunes to standing areas. The cheapest, CAT 4 A & B, were priced at Rp1.875 million, while the priciest VIP East & West seats cost Rp9.8 million. Prices excluded 10 percent tax and service fees.

General ticket sales opened on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 at 10:00 Western Indonesian Time exclusively through yejakarta.com with Loket.com as the official sales partner. The organizer also offered installment plans and ticket-plus-hotel bundling packages.

Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya viewed the concert as a moment for local creative economy players to level up. He said the involvement of Indonesian vendors, creators, designers and musicians in a global-scale production gave them international-standard working experience.
